Katherine M. Anetakis, MD joined the University of Pittsburgh Center of Clinical Neuro-physiology in July of 2017. She specializes in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring for adult and pediatric neurosurgical, orthopedic, ENT, vascular, and interventional neuroradiology procedures, as well as motor and language mapping during awake craniotomies.
Dr. Anetakis competed her pediatric neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her fellowship concentrations included pediatric epilepsy as well as intraoperative neuromonitoring. In 2021, she was named fellowship director of the non-ACGME track IONM fellowship at UPMC.
